1. Who we are
GlobalPoov is a vehicle inspection application published by Yadousoft, designed for car rental agencies. For any question: support@globalpoov.com.
2. Data we collect
- User account: name, e-mail address, role (agent, admin), assigned agency.
- Inspections: customer information entered by the agent (first and last name), mileage, fuel level, check-out/return dates.
- Photos: vehicle views, free photos, customer documents (contract, driving licence, ID) photographed by the agent.
- Damages: annotations positioned on photos (type, position, description).
- Signatures: handwritten agent and customer signatures captured on screen.
- Geolocation: GPS coordinates at the time of inspection and photo capture, when permission is granted.
3. How we use data
- Create and archive check-out/return inspection records.
- Synchronize records between devices and agencies of the same company.
- Provide timestamped, geolocated evidence in case of disputes.
- Ensure the service works correctly (authentication, synchronization).
4. App permissions
- Camera: taking inspection photos (required for the core feature).
- Location: geolocated timestamping of inspections (optional).
- Storage: temporary local storage of data for offline mode.
5. Data sharing
Data is hosted on our secured servers and is only accessible to authorized users of your company (agents and administrators of your agencies). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Retention
Inspections are kept on the server for the duration defined by your contract. On the mobile device, local photos of closed records are deleted automatically after synchronization.
7. Security
HTTPS-encrypted communications, token-based authentication, data partitioned per company.
8. Your rights
In accordance with applicable regulations, you may request access to, rectification or deletion of your personal data by writing to support@globalpoov.com.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated; the date of the latest revision appears at the top of the page.
